Imagine Eating Lemons

Jason Rhodes

Richard Dearing

£7.99

Paperback | 36 pages | 250 x 250mm

Publication June 2022

Discover the wonders of mindfulness this New Year. Imagine Eating Lemons is a brilliant introduction to mindfulness, written by wellness coach Jason Rhodes. Children follow the journey of Chester Chestnut as he learns about his anxious thoughts

and feelings, where they come from and how to control them. Brilliant illustrations by Bristol-based digital illustrator Richard Dearing bring Jason’s tale to life and perfectly portray the dark and overwhelming feelings which Chester overcomes.

Discussing the book, Jason says: ‘A children’s book, and this book in particular, can help to teach by

example. Instead of just telling a child about anxiety and breathing, it is much more powerful to follow the journey of a character and learn through their

actions.’

I Am an Artist

Kertu Sillaste

Adam Cullen

£7.99

Age 5-7 | Paperback | 36 pages |

250 x 250mm

Publication August 2021

Discover the world of being an artist and pick up a new hobby!

What is an artist? Sometimes John finds art easy, sometimes it’s hard, sometimes art is like a game, but sometimes it’s a puzzle. This book takes us through the many ups and downs of John’s life as an artist whilst also showing the fun that can be had with many different art forms, including drawing, sculpture, painting, photography and many more.

Inspired by her own experience as an artist, Kertu Sillaste has written and illustrated I am an Artist to give children an insight into what everyday life as an artist looks like. Combining the challenges of struggling to find creativity and always wanting approval with the joys of seeing works of art come to life and receiving praise, this book perfectly balances the difficulties and delights of the life of an artist and presents this rarely discussed profession as an exciting and diverse career option for children.
