Wandering Wildly with Dom Conlon at Leeds Libraries

Dom Conlon's Wild Wanderers series is a poetic exploration of ecological diversity and environmental change across the world.

From hares and sharks, to the wind and the stars, Wild Wanderers books are a wonder of language and art.

With the aid of a giant world map, Dom Conlon will take children on their very own journey through the natural world to see how hares adapt to climate, how sharks protect the air we breathe, how the wind brings life to the Amazon rainforest, and how life without light would be a difficult thing.

Suitable for ages 5-11 years old.

Saturday 26th February 11am & 2pm

Copies of the books will be available to purchase on the day as well as book signing by the author.

Gaspard's Foxtrot London Premiere with Zeb Soanes and Philharmonia

On 16th February the London premiere of Gaspard's Foxtrot will be taking place at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre with Philharmonia.

Gaspard dreams of hearing an orchestra perform live – but humans don’t let foxes into their concerts! Gaspard boards the Number 38 bus and sets off on a musical adventure. The latest tale in the delightful Gaspard the Fox series is narrated by the book’s author, Zeb Soanes.

Paired with this enchanting new work, Zeb also narrates Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf. With different themes and instruments representing Peter, his grumpy grandfather, and a cast of friendly and not-so-friendly animals, this classic of musical storytelling has introduced generations of young listeners to the wonderful world of the orchestra.
