Supporting the Summer Reading Challenge
As we celebrate these achievements, we're equally excited to be supporting The Reading Agency's Summer Reading Challenge, helping young readers discover new books, develop a love of reading and enjoy stories throughout the school holidays.
This year's theme, 'Read to the Beat', celebrates music, rhythm and creativity, making it a perfect fit for ABC Opera: Romantic by Mark Llewellyn Evans. Selected as part of the challenge, this engaging middle-grade title follows Jack and Megan as they journey through musical history, meeting famous composers and exploring the stories behind some of the world's greatest music. Combining adventure, history and classical music, the book brings the theme to life in a fun and accessible way for young readers. -
