Contracts
Contracts will be issued via DocuSign and will outline the expected book format, production timeline and any royalty rates or flat fees.

Royalties/Fees
We aim to produce statements every six months. We'll make it clear when to expect your statement and where payments are due. This will depend on your individual contract agreements.

Editing
We have in-house editors who are very capable and will work with you to ensure your manuscript is ready for publication.

Design
Graffeg are fortunate to have in-house designers. They will provide you with dates for completed manuscripts, rough sketches and completed artwork.
We may also ask for digital assets relating to your work.

Marketing
Graffeg will write up a comprehensive marketing plan and will share this with you before publication.

Sales
Graffeg will ensure that your book is available to purchase on the publication date.
We will send an AI (Advanced Information sheet) to our sales reps, retailers and distributers which outlines the book details and register your book on Nielsen so it appears in industry catalogues ahead of the publication date.
Graffeg has UK based distributors, who ensure that your book gets to wholesalers, bookshops and online retailers, including Amazon.
Graffeg is able to send stock directly to consumers via our dedicated website and the retail trade and help you with arranging stock for signing events.
Graffeg also have international sales agreements.

Distribution
Your book will delivered from the printers to our UK distributor, Books Council of Wales, who will then send copies to Amazon, Wholesalers and bookshops.
Customers will be able to purchase your book as a preorder before publication and from bookshops, online stores and the Graffeg website, on publication.
We monitor stock levels and book details closely to ensure that your book is always available when we have sufficent copies.
Your contract will outline how many free copies of your book you will receive on publication. These will be dispatched from our Llangennech office as soon as copies are available to us.

Events
We can arrange events for you or, if you are happy to make your own arrangements, we can assist by providing marketing materials and stock.
If you would like stock for an event, you can order by emailing hannah@graffeg.com and use your author discount (as agreed in your contract) to purchase books.
If you would like to give a particular bookshop a contact for placing an order, then please advise them to contact orders@graffeg.com
