Will Nicholls is director of BWPA and a wildlife photographer and cameraman based in Bristol. His previous television credits include working for the BBC, Plimsoll Productions and Silverback Films. He is also the founder of the popular nature photography online resource Nature TTL and has run the Bird Photographer of the Year competition for the last three years. Will Nicholls says, ‘This year, we received an astounding number of entries, each image serving as a powerful testament to the resilience and brilliance of British wildlife.

  • With so many talented photographers participating, this collection represents not only their technical excellence but also their dedication to understanding and capturing the essence of nature.’

The book also features a foreword by Irish actor and activist Evanna Lynch.

She says, ‘Looking at the stunning transient moments captured within the pages of The British Wildlife Photography Awards fills me with a new optimism... or the symbiotic relationship we can have with the natural world if we can take our place amidst it, let it revive our jaded souls and remember our true nature.
