Garden Safari 

People in the UK love their gardens and green spaces and Andrew has spent the last eight years photographing the incredible diversity of species in his garden and in green spaces all over the country, showcasing what is often right under our noses.

A celebration of garden wildlife at a time when many species are in decline or struggling, Andrew’s intimate and animate photographs of birds in flight,

butterflies, airborne bees, hedgehogs, badgers, foxes and more is accompanied both by stories behind the photos and information on the species in the frame.

Andrew’s previous photography book, Butterfly Safari, has sold over 2800 copies to date and was featured in national press including Guardian, 

Amateur Photographer, BBC Wildlife, Country LIfe, Daily Express and many more.

Andrew Fusek Peters is a wildlife photographer and OM System brand ambassador whose work regularly

appears in national newspapers and magazines. His previous two titles for Graffeg, Upland and Butterfly Safari were highly praised, with the latter gaining features in the Guardian, Amateur Photographer, BBC Wildlife, Landscape Magazine and Outdoor

Photography.  

In Butterfly Safari, he shows butterflies in a new light, capturing close-ups of wing scales and the delicate structure of eggs, eyes and antennae. He has also pioneered never before-seen flight shots and astonishing aerial sequences. 

Many of these photos have already appeared in the national papers and magazines. He has been on commission for the National Trust for the last eight years on the Long Mynd and Stiperstones nature reserves. His photos are regularly published in magazines and the national papers.

An acclaimed photographer, Andrew’s work has regularly appeared in prestigious competitions such

as British Wildlife Photographer of the Year, International Garden Photographer of the Year and Close-up Photographer of the Year.
