Collection: Mark Llewelyn Evans
Mark Llewelyn Evans trained as an opera singer at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the National Opera Studio, and was principal baritone with Welsh National Opera, performing widely across the UK. His debut album Let the Light In reached the UK classical Top 10, and his charity single Tell My Father reached No.1 in the UK charts.
He is founder and creative director of ABC of Opera Productions, which tours nationally introducing children to opera through music and storytelling, and he received the Amati Guildhall Creative Entrepreneur Award in 2019. He has also led large-scale singing projects across Pembrokeshire, working with schoolchildren to bring music and performance into communities.
His Academy of Barmy Composers series is a celebration of musical history, delivering fun, accessible middle-grade stories often described as a “Horrible Histories for music.” Mark works tirelessly to inspire children, encouraging creativity, confidence and self-expression through music. ABC of Opera: Romantic has been selected for the 2026 Summer Reading programme.
