Richard Williams is a Welsh author and entrepreneur whose writing draws on an eclectic career spanning international development, hospitality and business. Before becoming a novelist, he worked for the Global Fund in Geneva and co-founded the Holy Cow! Gourmet Burger Company in Switzerland and Cardiff's The Grazing Shed.

His novels include Mostyn Thomas and the Big Rave, The Sheriff of Geneva and The Road, showcasing his distinctive voice, sharp humour and memorable storytelling. Reflecting the enduring appeal of his work, Richard was commissioned by the Books Council of Wales and Graffeg to adapt Mostyn Thomas and the Big Rave into a specially developed Quick Reads-style edition, making the story accessible to an even wider audience.
