Professor Terry Stevens is an internationally recognised tourism consultant, author and academic with more than 45 years' experience in destination development and place-making. He has worked in over 55 countries, advising organisations including UN Tourism (formerly the UN World Tourism Organization), UNESCO and the World Bank, and has published more than 350 books, articles and papers on tourism and heritage.
Formerly Dean and Professor of Tourism Management at Swansea Metropolitan University, Terry now leads the award-winning consultancy Stevens & Associates. A lifelong champion of landscapes, culture and heritage, his writing reflects a deep passion for the places and communities that shape our world.
