Dom Conlon is a space poet, copyrighter and frequent radio guest. His background is in writing for video games, technology companies and books for children. He is a published poet who runs workshop sessions in schools, teaching writing, reading and understanding poetry- in particular, to inspire children to look up to the stars and across to each other.

Anastasia Izlesou is an illustrator and graphic designer based in the UK. She creates vibrant work full of bold natural elements. Anastasia loves bringing plenty of research into the projects she works on. Her inspirations range from natural sciences, literature and folklore to everyday items and objects of kitsch.

The pair came together just over a year ago to begin publishing new picture book series, The Wild Wanderers, of which Grow, Tree, Grow! is the fifth instalment. You can find out more about Grow, Tree, Grow! and the other books in the series below.

Meet Oak, growing taller each year as he becomes a home for a hundred different species of insect and plants and, inch-by-inch, finds his place in a rich forest of trees.

Complete with a list of fascinating facts about different species of tree, this charming poetic picture book combines fiction and non-fiction to make a perfect educational resource for children whether at home or in the classroom.

From the leap of a hare and the gentlest breeze to a blazing star and ancient trees, Wild Wanderers is a series of poetic exploration which will inspire children across the world. Each book takes a gentle and lyrical journey through biodiversity, environment and challenges to unlock a world of wonder.
