Molly Series Audiobooks

Audiobook editions of the Molly series are now available on Audible

The celebrated  Molly picture book series, written by Malachy Doyle and illustrated by Andrew Whitson, are now available as audiobooks through Audible.


The audiobooks, read by Malachy’s daughter Naomi Keevil, are available to listen to on Audible and are available to libraries through Overdrive. Welsh audiobooks will also be made available through the Books Council of Wales’s Ffolio platform (https://www.ffolio.wales).



Molly is a young girl who lives on an island off the coast with her family, friends and neighbours. Throughout seven adventurous stories, the island community come together to help a beached whale, rescue the injured lighthouse keeper, tackle a pandemic, save a refugee family involved in a shipwreck and even Molly herself when she gets stuck in a cave.

The Molly stories published to date are: Molly and the Stormy Sea, Molly and the Whale, Molly and the Lighthouse, Molly and the Lockdown, Molly and the Shipwreck, Molly and the Dolphins and Molly and the Pirate Cave. More Molly adventures are to follow in 2025-26.

Malachy Doyle grew up by the sea in Northern Ireland, and after living in Wales for many years has returned to Ireland. Malachy has had over a hundred and twenty books published, from pop-up books for toddlers to gritty teenage novels. Over the years he has won many prestigious book awards, and his work is available in around thirty languages.

John Macfarlane will be at the gallery on Saturday 2nd November (12 - 2) to dedicate and sign any books purchased.
